Truhchevs house Complex

Truhchevs house is located in Valchevtsi village; it borders the Yovkovtsi dam and is 6 kilometers from the town of Elena. A perfect destination for tourist, one can enjoy the beautiful nature, fresh air, calm and silence.

The hotel has 61 rooms available: 9 apartments, 4 double rooms, 5 bedrooms, and 2 rooms with 3 beds. In two of the rooms there is a pull out couch. Every room comes with a private bathroom and shower, television, heating and hot water. There is a conference room, perfect size for conducting teacher seminars.

The restaurant in the hotel is decorated in an ancient/antique style, it can hold up to 60 occupants during winter and in summer has a capacity for 80 people. There is a full menu if many Bulgarian favorites; roasted lamb or pig, pork soup, stuffed carp, along with many other culinary surprises. If a request is made in advance there is a possibility that the chief will prepare barbequed lamb on a stick.

Truchevs house is perfect place for a family with children. The complex offers many opportunities for entertainment. There is a pool, playground to play volleyball, a mini zoo with wild animals like deer, pheasants, rabbits and horses. The lady of the house offers guest walking tours of the neighborhoods in horse in cart. There are mushrooms, wild strawberries, blackberries and herbs for picking.

Less than 9 kilometers from the complex is the second large reservoir in Bulgaria one being the “Yuvkovtsi dam,” great place for fishing.
